Object |
Any shape, line or text that you draw,
as a vector, is an object. |
|
Handle |
Handles are the square blobs at the
corners of objects or where a line changes direction (node). |
|
Rotation Handle |
This is the square blob on a stick near
the centre of an object, which you drag to rotate an object. |
Nodes |
These are the points where each line
(or curve) that forms a shape begin, end or meet. |
|
Stroke (Line) Colour |
This is taken from the foreground
colour you have set on your colour pallet, or can be set within the
Properties of an object. |
|
Fill Colour |
This is taken from the background
colour you have set on your colour pallet, or can be set within the
Properties of an object. |
Properties |
This is the information stored about
each object for its colours, line thickness, size, position etc.
Because this information is stored separately for each object,
they can be changed for each object even after you have moved on to
drawing other things.
In PSP 8, the Gradient, Pattern and Texture
options are accessed by clicking the colour swatch and then selecting
the materials properties. The materials can also be changed
without opening the object properties, simply by selecting it the the
Object Selector tool and changing the settings on the materials pallet.
